I would like us to use the class forum more than we did before. Discussing about talents/gear etc can help us to play our class better.
This post I made after our 3d Black Temple run, I find these fights more about surviving than about max DPS or max healing. So here a few points that have to do with that.

Blessed Life, 3 talent points for a 10% to take half damage.
Most of out pala's have this talent, it gives 5% average damage reduction and can save your life when you get a big hit.

Improved Righteous fury gives 50% more agro but also 6% damage reduction. I will not use it at agro sensative fights like on hydross, but I use it a lot. It does get me killed sometimes because I pull agro but otherwise another healer would have had that agro.

If you want to see if these talents work on a boss fight look at the webstats of Naj'entus. The tidal wave does 8500 damage. Silverpalm and me used Righteous Fury and all the tidal waves do only do 7990 on us. Silverpalm had one hit for 3995 because of blessed life. (The stats also shows the effect of berserker stance btw ).

On the high dynamic fights a self heal macro can be helpfull. I have one on my toolbar a macro to do a holy shock on myself, handy when you need a heal while running out of AoE: /cast [target=player] Holy shock expandable with pots and trinkets

with regards to blessed life, i had that happen too on our first naj'entus kill, it's definately worth it, Imp righteous fury is now a staple of my builds as well and I do consider using it now.

edit: I use the alt-button to selfcast a heal :)

yep with the new build that i have after help from M on the route to take im finding myself surviving alot more The imp RF is great and if u feel your pulling a bit to much aggro then its gone with a click anyway.
I do use a few macro's myself wich i will post here at a later date, that help me with a few of the common and most helpful palla dutys.

I agree with you M i would also like to see the class forum used more

I have tweaked my build recently, have a look on the armary. A bit more damage reduction in there, nothing that will stop a boss mashing me, but a nice mitigation or chance of mitigation which makes the healers job a bit more easy :). Want to see where I am at now, follow the link below......
