G'day mages.
As i posted in cowl's thread i will be trying to mass the latest info and news regarding the mage class.
Ye i know you could probably find all this yourself on the net , but hey you got me to do it and compile it all here for your viewing pleasure :)
Ok lets get the ball rolling with latest dps calculators that are hanging around on the net.
First up is one you probably have already heard of and i know Guv highly reccomends this is RAWR!

After playing around with this calculator i can happily say it has some ace features given what stage its at and its an ace stepping stone into the more complexed world of dps. Give it a try and see what you think
Next up is one that i thought was pretty good aswell

The site itself is pretty cool imho, it has some ace news in it and some intresting catergorys that could potentially keep you surfing for hours.
Ok now for me this is the big one, a shit loads of stats. a big fat wadge of mage possibiltys and all in a somewhat readable presentation.

Honestly i was really impressed with this site and wish i knew it existed a dam site earlier. I really reccomend checking it out as there are some things i reckon you wont know until you sit down with a cuppa and read this.
Next up is a few forum topics that caught my eye, admiitedly its a pain in the ass to find them when they are buried under a ten ton of whining posts.

I think this post has some pretty good tips that can be overlooked, and yes there are a few bitchy posts in there but meh this is wow. It's intresting to see the other mages perspectives on Mount Hyjal and beyond.

This is caught my eye as it involves the word "stamina" and "mages". Your probably aware that we have needed to push our stam some more since BT due to nanjent and all manner of other things.

I thought i would chuck this in as i think its nice to be aware of what really happened to mana regen in 2.4 and how much it effects us. :)
Mage Addons :
Next i thought i would compile a list of handy addons that you may have or not have , but either way are pretty funky.
Quartz : Tbh i dont think i could live without this , its a great way of indicating your latency and when to cast. Albeit not as useful since 2.4 its still nonetheless a very handy addon. http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/7960/
Cryolysis : This is a handy a little addon and saves a shed load of space concerning buffs and ports. It looks ace to boot! http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/8551/
SpellDPS : This is an addon just to show more indepth damage detail on your spell tooltips and is a dam sight lighter than the Theorycraft Mod, a must for stat geeks..cough
And Finally Movies!

Well thats me done for this week. Just to point out this isnt a post to say "this is what i do and you should too" it's just to get peeps looking at the specfics of mages and go indepth IF you want to. I also realise there are alot of links in here but seriously i will be buggered if i am going to cut and paste ALL of it. Take a look and at least this gives you something to do :)
p.s feel free to add your thoughts on anything i have covered or any experiences you have with any of the addons mentioned. Over time i will improve what i look at so consider this one a beta if you like :) I will also search the forums for a bit longer than i did , but yeh its late and i'm knackered
