damn this is a hard choice, there are different opinions on wich chestpiece is the best:

It is a discussion about +haste versus +crit in relation the the current stat-level of your character. It seems everyone agrees that if you have 1000+ spelldamage (buffed/unbuffed?) +haste is the way to go. Below that level opinions differ.

I have 88 badges atm, cant choose..... (ofc able to save for the 100-badge-one.:))

Any shammies onboard with good advice?

I would say purely statwise whirling fury looks better. Assuming you gem with 5 crit 6 dmg, you lose 18 crit (which is about 1%) but gain 16 haste and gain 11 dmg.

Then again the stat difference is very small so you could also save 25 badges.

Remember though i am not a shaman :P



In theoretical terms this item is *better* than the T6 ele chest (go see Elitist Jerks if you don't believe me). This is assuming of course that:
- The extra casts and lack of crit aren't making you go oom
- You aren't losing the amazing 4-piece T6 set bonus

That gear level is somewhere around 1100 nature damage, assuming 40% crit. Raid buffed numbers of course.
