One of our readers - who would prefer to remain nameless - installs PC rigs for a living. He helped install this one, in a government office, then proceeded to do what anyone confronted by twenty-seven 67" HD monitors would do - he played a ton of BioShock and WoW on it. For reference, 27 panels equates to a display that's 40 feet wide and 15 feet high, with a desktop resolution of, oh, 12600 x 3150.

Looks nice to me. I still play on my 19" Acer and it is great. LCDs are all much of a muchness unless you go for some really unknown brand. There are only a handful of LCD panel manufacturers and I think the Sammy is a Sony panel underneath if I remember right.

I can't remember to be honest. They tend to chop and change the manufacturers. It might be the other way around and Sony use Samsung panels lol.
Can't believe you got burn in on your LCD. Mine is sat in Windows most of the time and I have zero burn in. Maybe your contrast is set too high or something.

i think its a burn if i put a white image or whatever an see a line across the middle of the top of the screen exactly where the bar would be sum times its ok but on lighter colors is worse

I meant that if your contrast is set too high it can cause the actual burn ;) I get it from time to time on my plasma - although it goes away after a short while - but since I've dropped the settings a little it isn't so common.
