Levelling to 80 as a priest

Thought I better bring this topic up. Levelling is easier as shadow imo as you can solo a lot more quests and grinding is easier.

I, however, will be sticking with holy as I enjoy it - and prefer to play as a group than solo anyway. I can see lots of tweaking as the new talents come into play and we learn them.

What's everyone else doing?

If you want to level while still being healing specced, disc might be an option. The mana regen feels quite awesome on my lvl70 blue geared priest and you get stuff like power infusion and penance for some extra pewpew.

Though truth be told, i could not for the life of me do dailies on the priest as a healing spec (also has something to do with shitty gear) and i'll probably go shadow to level him up, then spec back into disc.

I've talented my priest Alahna as discipline and will give it ago to level with, seems ok but cant really tell much as mobs go down too easy atm.

I like being holy whilst levelling for one good reason - you are guaranteed spots in 5 mans ;-)

Don't see why disc would be any different for that, a healer is a healer. Disc is not the wannabe lolsmite dps spec anymore it was back in the days. It's different from holy, that's for sure, but it can definetely do some healing now.

I will start to level holy with a few points in spirit tap for a little mana regen while questing but will either move into shadow more or holy depending on how the healing goes in instances.

If I level sneeuw it would be shadow specced.
But imo with our current gear the first few instances should be easily healed with a shadowpriest.
